About the Facilitators

Diana McSpadden

is a survivor of prenatal and postpartum depression and mother of two. She is a working mother, cyclist, yogini, computer geek, runner, and sometimes vegetarian, who loves reading books to children, sleeping late (which mean 7:30AM these days), and eating dessert. She survived PPD after her first child was born because of the love and care from her husband, her extended family, her friends and her psychiatrist. She is a volunteer with Post Partum Support Virginia.
